Quick Steps

1

Paste the product link

Open the Product Video tool and paste the product page URL. Amazon pages have their own extractor; Shopify and most other stores are read from the page's product data. If nothing useful comes back, enter the product details by hand.

2

Check the product details and photos

Review the extracted title and description, fix anything that is wrong and choose the photos to use. On the free plan you can use 1 photo per video; paid plans allow more.

3

Pick an ad script

Choose one or more script styles, such as UGC review, problem and solution or unboxing, and Kensa writes short ad scripts for your product. Pick the one you like.

4

Edit the prompt and generate

Adjust the video prompt if you want, choose the model, length and aspect ratio (9:16 for TikTok and Reels), then generate. Sign-in is required for this step.

5

Download the video

When the video is ready, download the MP4. It is also saved in My Creations. To show it on your store, upload it to the product's media in your store admin.

The Product Video tool turns a product page into a short video ad: it reads the product, writes an ad script and generates the video from your product photos. This guide walks through each step and what it costs.

Before you start

  • A product page URL (Amazon, Shopify or another online store), or the product's title, description and at least one photo
  • A Kensa account with credits. New accounts created with Google sign-in get 15 free credits, valid for 72 hours, which covers one Veo 3.1 clip (13 credits)

If you run a Shopify store, you can also connect it and start from your product list instead of pasting links.

Paste the URL of the product page and click analyze. Kensa fetches the page and extracts the product title, description, price and images:

  • Amazon pages use a dedicated extractor
  • Shopify and most other stores are read from the product data the page publishes (Open Graph, JSON-LD and meta tags)

Some sites block automated requests. If the result is empty or wrong, switch to entering the details manually; everything after this step works the same.

Step 2: Check the details and choose photos

Edit the title and description so the script is built on accurate information: the AI only knows what is on this screen. Then choose which photos to use. The number of photos you can use per video depends on your plan: 1 on the free plan, 3 on Basic, 5 on Pro and 10 on Ultimate.

Pick a clean, well-lit photo with the product clearly visible as the main image. It becomes the starting frame of the video, so it matters more than any other setting.

Step 3: Pick an ad script

Choose the script styles you want. There are six: UGC product review, problem and solution, unboxing experience, lifestyle showcase, before and after, and top reasons countdown. The free plan can pick 2 styles at a time and generate scripts 3 times a day; paid plans get more.

Read the scripts and choose one. You can still edit the final video prompt in the next step.

Step 4: Edit the prompt and generate

The chosen script becomes the video prompt. Keep it focused on one scene and one clear action; a short clip cannot follow a long story. Then choose:

SettingWhat to pick
ModelVeo 3.1 for a fixed 13 credits per clip; Seedance 2.0, Kling 3 or Seedance 1.5 Pro if you want other lengths or looks
Aspect ratio9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts; 16:9 for YouTube and product pages; 1:1 for feeds
LengthWhatever the model offers; longer clips cost more on per-second models

The credit cost is shown before you generate. Generating requires you to be signed in.

Step 5: Download and use the video

Most clips are ready in a few minutes. Preview the result, then download the MP4. Every video is also kept in My Creations.

To use it on your store, upload the MP4 to the product's media in your store admin. Kensa does not publish to your store for you.

Tips

  • Test cheaply first. Try a script with Veo 3.1 before spending more on a longer clip.
  • Make variants. Generate the same product in 9:16 and 1:1, or with two script styles, and see which one performs better in your ads.
  • Use the free tools. The free e-commerce tools can pull product data, clean up a product photo and write ad scripts without an account.
