How it works

Connect your store
Enter your-store.myshopify.com above and approve the requested permissions on Shopify. You need a Kensa account; if you're not signed in, Kensa asks you to sign in first and brings you back here.

Pick a product
Your products appear in the Kensa Shopify dashboard with their images, price and stock. Search the catalog and click Generate Video on the product you want.

Generate the video
Kensa's product video tool opens with the product's title, description and images filled in. Choose TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or a 16:9 format and the ad styles, and AI writes scripts from the description (no credits). Pick a script, choose MiniMax H3, Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.0 or Seedance 1.5 Pro, and Kensa animates the product's main image into a 4–15 second clip. Download the MP4 and add it to the product's media in Shopify admin.
What Kensa does with a product
- Ad scripts in 6 styles (UGC Product Review, Problem → Solution, Unboxing Experience, Lifestyle Showcase, Before & After, Top Reasons / Countdown), written from the product title and description. You can edit them, and they cost no credits.
- Formats: 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, 16:9 and 1:1.
- Models: MiniMax H3 (5–15 s), Veo 3.1 (8 s), Seedance 2.0 (4–15 s), Seedance 1.5 Pro (4–12 s), chosen per clip.
- The product's main image is the starting frame. Finished videos are saved in My Creations, where you can download the MP4 at any time.
What Kensa can access, and why
When you connect, Shopify shows you exactly these permissions to approve. Kensa asks for product access only.

Not requested: orders, customers, payments, discounts, themes or store settings. Kensa can't see your customers or your sales.
What Kensa stores
- Your store's domain, name, contact email, currency, time zone and Shopify plan name, read from Shopify when you connect.
- The access token Shopify issues, encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
- A copy of product details when you sync (titles, descriptions, image links, prices, variants, tags, inventory counts), kept current through Shopify's product update and delete notifications.
- Notification subscriptions on Shopify's side (product updates and deletions, shop changes, app uninstall). That is the only setup Kensa creates in your store.
What it costs
Connecting a store is free. Generating a video uses credits; writing scripts doesn't. The table shows the credits charged per clip at regular prices.

Free accounts generate up to 768p (MiniMax H3; 720p on other models), and their videos carry a small “Made with kensa.cc” watermark. Paid plans unlock 1080p and 2K (MiniMax H3) and remove the watermark.

Does connecting change anything in my Shopify store?
It doesn't change products, prices, inventory or orders. Connecting reads your catalog. The write-products permission is only for attaching a generated video to a product's media, and Kensa's interface doesn't offer that right now, so you upload the video yourself. The only thing Kensa sets up on Shopify's side is notification subscriptions (product updates and deletions, shop changes, app uninstall) that keep its product list current.
Which Kensa plans work with Shopify?
All of them, including the free account. Connecting is free and each video uses credits. Free accounts generate up to 768p (MiniMax H3; 720p on other models) with a small “Made with kensa.cc” watermark; paid plans unlock 1080p (Kling 3, Seedance 1.5 Pro) and 2K (MiniMax H3) and remove the watermark. Plans: Basic $9.90/month (280 credits), Pro $29.90/month (960 credits), Ultimate $79.90/month (2,850 credits), or one-time credit packs from $14.90.
How long does it take?
Connecting is one approval screen on Shopify. Scripts cost no credits, and a video usually takes a few minutes: the tool shows progress and notes it can take 2–10 minutes depending on the model. Clips are 4–15 seconds long, depending on the model.
Can I disconnect my store?
Yes. In your Kensa Shopify dashboard, the delete icon next to the store disconnects it from your Kensa account. To revoke the access token on Shopify's side, uninstall “Kensa AI Video” in your Shopify admin's app settings; Shopify then notifies Kensa, which marks the store uninstalled and discards the token.
Why can't I find Kensa in the Shopify App Store?
Kensa AI Video isn't listed in the Shopify App Store. You connect by entering your store's .myshopify.com address on this page, and Shopify then shows its standard permission screen for you to approve. It works for any store where you're allowed to install apps.
Do I need a Kensa account, and can I connect more than one store?
Yes, the store is linked to your Kensa account; if you aren't signed in, the connect button asks you to sign in first (Google or email). New Google sign-ups get 15 free credits, valid for 3 days. You can connect several stores, one .myshopify.com address at a time, and switch between them in the dashboard.
