Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance's AI video model with native audio. Its upstream API opened on August 7, 2026, and it has been on Kensa since October 15, 2026, for text to video, image to video (first frame, or first and last frame) and reference images. Kensa bills it per second of video, so the price of a clip is the per-second rate times its length, rounded up to a whole credit.

What you pay in dollars depends on how you buy credits. A plan's price divided by its credits is the dollar value of one credit; multiply that by the credits per second and you have the dollar price per second. The tables below do that for Kensa's three monthly plans and the Starter credit pack.

How Seedance 2.5 pricing works

Kensa bills Seedance 2.5 per second and rounds each clip up to a whole credit: 10.3 credits per second at 480P, 22.1 at 720P and 55.3 at 1080P, so a 5-second 480P clip is 52 credits (10.3 × 5 = 51.5, rounded up). Native audio is generated by default and included in that price. 1080P needs a paid plan (from $9.90 a month). Dollar figures use one formula: credits × plan price ÷ plan credits, with Basic at $9.90 for 280 credits, Pro $29.90 for 960, Ultimate $79.90 for 2,850 and the Starter pack $14.90 for 280. Per second, at 480P on Basic: 10.3 × $9.90 ÷ 280 ≈ $0.36.
