Inflate Video Template

The Inflate Video Template applies the AI inflate effect to one photo: the object you upload swells up like a balloon, its corners round off and its surface turns smooth and shiny, then it lifts off the table and floats in mid-air. Upload a clear photo of one object, such as a toaster, a backpack or a wallet. It runs on Veo 3.1 in vertical 9:16 with sound and costs 13 credits (about $0.69). Use it for playful posts on TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

Which photo works best?

Use a sharp photo of one object with the whole object in frame and some empty space above it, so there is room for it to grow and float up. Objects with a clear outline work best. Keep people and hands out of the photo: the video models reject photos of real people.

How do I use the Inflate Video Template?

  1. 1

    Open the template

Click “Use this template”. The image-to-video page opens with the inflate prompt, Veo 3.1, the length and the vertical aspect ratio already filled in.

  2. 2

    Upload your photo

Add one clear photo of the object. The first frame comes from this photo, so it looks like your object before it starts to swell.

  3. 3

    Pick an ending (optional)

By default the object floats up and hovers. For an exit, change the end of the motion to “drifts up and out of the top of the frame”; for a punchline, try “pops with a burst of confetti”. Keep the sentence about the shape, colors and label.

  4. 4

    Generate and download

Generate the clip, check that the inflated object still has your colors, then download the MP4 and post it.

How can I make it my own?

  • Flat things (a wallet, a book) change the most when they inflate, so the surprise is bigger; things that are already round (a ball, a jar) change less.
  • The prompt asks for a glossy balloon finish, so name the colors (“a yellow raincoat”) to help them stay true.
  • Make it a series: inflate several products from the same photo shoot, one clip each, and post them back to back.
  • Keep to one effect per clip. Inflating, spinning and flying away is too much for 8 seconds.

What prompt does this template use?

This is the prompt filled into the generator. Edit it freely before you generate.

The object from the photo rests on a table against a plain background, its shape, colors and label recognisable exactly as in the photo at the start. Then it slowly inflates like a balloon: its sides puff out, its corners round off and its surface stretches smooth and glossy while keeping its original colors. Once it is fully round and shiny, it lifts gently off the table and floats upward, bobbing slightly in mid-air as the camera tilts up a little to follow it. Bright, soft lighting. Photorealistic. Do not add any text or logos. No people.

Frequently asked questions

Will my label stay readable when it inflates?

At first, yes. Once the surface stretches, printed text and logos stretch with it and can blur or warp, and small print usually doesn't survive. Big, simple logos hold up best. If the brand must be readable, show it in the first second or add it later in your editor.

What if my object floats out of the frame or doesn't float at all?

The prompt asks for a gentle lift and a slight camera tilt, but video models don't always follow motion instructions exactly: sometimes the object stays on the table, sometimes it drifts off the top. Regenerate if the ending isn't what you want; each try costs 13 credits.

Which objects work best?

Objects with a clear outline and solid colors: shoes, bags, small appliances, boxes and packaging. Very thin or detailed things, like jewelry chains or plants, tend to turn into a shapeless blob because there's little shape to inflate. Results vary, so try a couple of photos.

Is the inflated object a 3D model I can reuse?

No. The result is a regular MP4 video. The model doesn't build a 3D object, so you can't rotate it or drop it into another scene; generate a new clip for each version you want.
