Cat Making Coffee Video Template

The Cat Making Coffee Video Template turns one photo of your cat into a vertical 8-second barista clip: your cat gets a small apron and reaches a paw toward a white cup under an espresso machine while coffee pours by itself, then looks into the camera as it moves in. You upload a photo of your cat on its own; it runs on Veo 3.1 in 9:16 with sound and costs 13 credits (about $0.69). Post it on TikTok, Reels or Shorts.

Which photo works best?

Use a sharp photo of your cat alone, sitting upright on a table or counter and facing the camera, with its front paws visible. A cat that is already on a kitchen counter or table blends in best, because the machine and cup appear next to it. Leave people and hands out of the photo: the video models reject photos of real people.

How do I use the Cat Making Coffee Video Template?

  1. 1

    Upload your cat's photo

Drop the photo into the upload box above, or click “Use this template” and upload it on the image-to-video page. The barista prompt, model, length and vertical aspect ratio are filled in for you.

  2. 2

Change the coffee if you like

Swap the espresso for a latte or a matcha, or change the apron color. Keep the line about no human hands: when an animal handles objects, video models sometimes add a person's hand.

  3. 3

    Generate and check

Generate the clip and check that your cat still looks like your cat and that no hand appears. Regenerate if either is off.

  4. 4

    Download and post

Download the MP4 and post it, or add a caption like “Morning shift” in your editor first.

How can I make it my own?

  • Front-facing photos work best: the clip ends on a close-up of your cat looking into the camera, so a clear face gives a better ending.
  • A calm, sitting cat gives cleaner motion than a cat mid-jump or lying down.
  • If the result drifts from your photo, name your cat's colors in the prompt, for example “a ginger cat” or “a black cat with white paws”.
  • Add text in your editor afterwards rather than in the prompt: generated lettering on cups and machines often comes out garbled.

What prompt does this template use?

This is the prompt filled into the generator. Edit it freely before you generate.

The cat from the photo works as a tiny barista at a cozy home coffee bar, wearing a small brown barista apron. On the wooden counter in front of it stand a compact espresso machine and a white ceramic cup. The cat presses the machine's button with one front paw, dark espresso streams into the cup by itself and steam curls up, then the cat looks up proudly and blinks. Keep the cat's fur, stripes and face exactly as in the photo, and keep its body natural, with four legs and one tail. Warm morning light, soft bokeh, steady camera at the cat's eye level with one slow push-in. No people, no human hands or arms anywhere in the frame. No text or logos.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cat making coffee trend?

It's an AI video effect in which a cat plays barista: an apron, a coffee machine and a cup filling with coffee. AI effect sites started offering it in late October 2026. This template makes the clip from a photo of your own cat.

Does my cat actually press the button?

Not exactly. In our example the cat reaches a paw toward the cup while the machine pours by itself. The prompt asks for a paw on the button, but video models often simplify small actions like that, and the motion changes from one generation to the next.

Does the apron stay on?

In our example the apron is clear while the cat stands at the machine and becomes hard to see in the final close-up. If the apron matters to you, describe its color, ask for it to stay visible, and check the result.

Will a human hand appear in the video?

The prompt rules out human hands and arms, and our example has none. Video models still sometimes add a hand when an animal handles objects, so check the clip before posting and regenerate if one appears.

How much does one cat coffee clip cost?

Each clip costs 13 credits (about $0.69), with sound included. New accounts created with Google sign-in get free credits to try it first.
